About the Project

In 2021, the Government of Indonesia and the World Bank signed the IndoRISK Project Loan Agreement. This project aims to support the institutional development of the Disaster Pooling Fund (PFB).

This project uses the Investment Project Financing with Performance-Based Conditions (IPF-PBCs) scheme, where disbursement of funds is based on the achievement of disaster fund management reform policy targets. This project has been extended twice (2023 and 2025) to ensure optimal achievement of the PBCs.

As part of the Legal Covenant, the Indonesian Government is committed to developing an Environmental and Social Commitment Plan (ESCP) and establishing a management system (ESMS) to ensure that PFB funds do not cause negative environmental impacts or social conflict.
